Welcome to Desert Mountain View Escape!

Find relaxation in the desert at Desert Mountain View Escape, a 6BR/2.5BA retreat in the peaceful Sky Valley area. Paradise awaits in your secluded backyard, complete with a sparkling pool, hot tub, and views of surrounding mountains. On starry nights, enjoy a wood-burning fireplace under the covered patio.

An open, single-story floor plan features inviting social spaces, including a game room with a pool table. Stylish decor, hardwood floors, and an updated kitchen add to the beauty of the dreamy vacation home.

POOL|SPA: $100/daily fee (to include spa) to 82 degrees. (More heat is an additional fee)Spa only: $35/daily to 102 degrees. (On demand only and must be turned off after use) Gas prices are at an all time high entering the new year, and we do not profit on these fees. If you need the pool heated upon your arrival, let me know at least 24hrs in advance. We can have it ready for your arrival at that time. Pool heating time varies depending on outside temperature. Pool fee can not be refunded unless heating issue is due to a problem with equipment.

Pool and spa can not be heated at the same time. If one is heating, the other one isn’t. Please notify us when you are finished with the spa so that we can keep the heat going in the pool.

Pool/spa fees are subject to change due to gas prices rising and falling.

Payment can be made via Airbnb or another form of payment.

Please note that this property gets weekly pool service by Mario on Tuesdays and Fridays.

PETS: Pets are allowed, as we are pet lovers as well. Please let us know in advance, if you need any special accommodations. $200 pet deposit is required and if no mess is left behind, $150 is refunded to your credit card and $50 goes towards your pet's stay. Please let us know you are bringing a pet/pets in advance.

EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS: If you need special accommodations with early check-in/late check-out, we will gladly help UPON AVAILABILITY. Early check-in fee is $50, payment has to be provided upon request. Late check-out requests are not easily attainable as our staff needs to properly sanitize and clean before the next guests arrive. In the event we do not have a reservation following yours, we will gladly accommodate for a $50 fee and move our cleaning crew to a later schedule or help you extend for the day or night at a special rate.

CHECKOUT DUTIES: 

If you could kindly start a load of pool towels and a load of white towels in the washing machines, put your trash in the trash bins outside and start the dishwasher. Thank you so much.

CHILD TRAVEL ITEMS: 

Being a small family business, we love hosting and accommodating all of our guests, especially our younger ones! We do provide pack and plays and high chairs complimentary for our little guests with a 24 hour in advance notice. For any other items such as strollers, car seats, children toys or anything along those lines, we have partnered with a local vendor that can be of assistance. Please reach out to our team for details. Please note: Fees will apply for those items. Payable directly to the vendor.

LIVING AREAS:

Gather for quality time in the main living area, furnished with a sofa and loveseat. A new 65" TV allows you to stay up to date on your favorite shows. Two arm chairs and a collection of books create a quiet reading area.

A pool table in the light-filled second living room offers hours of group fun. Large windows provide excellent views of the mountains. Set up a board game from the provided game collection.

KITCHEN & DINING:

Freshly updated with granite countertops and all new cabinetry, the modern kitchen is sure to please home chefs. High-end stainless steel appliances include a French door refrigerator and double ovens. The large island offers ample preparation space and seating for 3.

Serve sunlit morning meals in the breakfast nook or enjoy elegant dinners around the dining area.

This home sleeps up to 16 guests in 6 bedrooms. (8 beds)

Find upscale comfort in the master bedroom, featuring a king size bed, a 55" TV and direct access to a private patio. The en-suite bathroom boasts a double vanity, a deep bathtub, and a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS:

The backyard is a [private paradise with beautiful mountain vies. Dip in the unheated pool or unwind in the covered hot tub. A rock waterfall adds to the serene ambiance.

Kick back in chaise lounges or relax on the daybed by the pool. You can also rest in the shade on comfy seating under the covered patio. Barbecue tasty meals on the gas grill and dine at the outdoor table. A wood-burning fireplace adds to the ambiance.

Located just 17 miles from Downtown Palm Springs, you'll enjoy quiet privacy with easy access to the top attractions including the art museum, the Moorten Botanical Garden, and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

Pay a visit to the Coachella Valley preserve (8 mi.) or enjoy a spa day at Agua Caliente (16 mi.)

Per county regulations, QUIET HOURS after 10pm apply outdoors and is strictly enforced. During daytime please limit music to cell phone levels or use of provided speaker. No other speakers. FESTIVALS:

Please note for the right group we are willing to give a special discount for Coachella and Stagecoach. Referrals and repeated guests will be rewarded with 5-10% discount, depending on the time of the year. All festival bookings are non-refundable with additional deposit requirement. Regular noise ordinance is in effect.
